Lujain is an indigenous arabic multidisciplinary artist and amateur mycologist. Their work is influenced by organic matter, fungi, and the human body.
Their current work is part of an on going series, DIY Mycology. It’s an exploration of fungal processes and imagery as a comparable species and studying nature-building processes such as repetition to build sculptures of fungal landscapes with fibers and gel mediums.
Graduated from Parsons School of Design, The New School with a Fine Art’s BFA in NY. Currently resides in NJ.
